Crystal River, home of the Manatee was our stop over point following on from TampaYbor. We chose this destination before leaving the UK as we saw there was a Manatee festival during the 22/23rd January. So interest peaked and wondering for starters what Manatees were and what they did and looked like we decided for a look around. After around 11 hours of sitting on the greyhound bus or in greyhound bus stations, we arrived in Tampa for just 1 day. Greyhound is an experience - it attracts some odd balls and some scary looking people (which probably included us by the time we got off the overnight bus after trying to/no sleep). We spent the day wandering round Tampa and achieving very little. We managed to miss the shops completely after walking down some dual carriage way for about 2 mile...

Today we move on from Miami, it's been a weird few days some good (hotel, beach, food, some of the people ), some bad experiences (greyhound ticket staff, some people and the Miami attitude!).
