We didnt do much in Hue, it was more of a stop off point to break the journey up to Halong Bay. It was so humid in Hue, we went on a dragon boat ride on the river to see the kings tomb, as a group. Once off the boat we had to climb quite a big hill, so we were all moaning and dripping in sweat more that usual, when we arrived at the tomb we were less that impressed it definatly wasnt worth that walk!! The boat ride back to the hotel was gorgeous though as the sun was setiing. We came accross the dodgy Vietnam police when they stopped our boat and demanded free beer, of course they got what they wanted! That evening we went to a resturant run by a deaf man and his family, it had really good food, and we all got to write all over the walls as thats the way the like to decorate the resturant.
