Singapore...well we didnt get off to a good start in Singapore. It took us 3 taxis, a shuttle bus and a stop at an internet cafe to actually find a backpackers hostel that exists!! So here we are 3 hours later in Cozy corner backpackers! once arriving we were knackerd carrying our 20kg backpacks with us. So we were shown our room which somone had kindly had a leek in our bin! nice.

So exploring singapore was great, although we seemed to get lost a lot, the taxi drivers new where nothing was and people tell you different things, but we got the hang of the MRT quickly and travelled around this huge city!
We went to Raffles hotel to have a singapore sling and throw our nut shells on the floor, we had a great time. we tryed to scrub up as much as possible Mike putting a shirt on and Kate put some makeup on! We even practiced our posh English accents.

On the second night we went on a night Safari, we first watched the talk about the animals which was very interesting then we went around the park first on a tram then by foot. We were especially pleased to be reunited with our favourite animal the Elephant!

We now have a 7 1/2 hour flight to Sydney, where we wait for 3 hours then a 3 1/2 hour flight to New Zealand! We will be uploading our pictures on arrival in New Zealand you will all be pleased to here!!
