Arriving in Phuket via ferry, we had mixed emotions as people had been warning us that Phuket has been totally ruined and that we wouldnt enjoy it. Anyway we managed to find a good deal for a really decent hotel room in Patong (yes we braved it, we wanted to see it for ourselves). We took a look around Phuket in the day looking at the market stools and at night we went to a Cabaret Show (simon cabaret) after the show we saw in Gran Canaria on holiday this show was terrible. The ladyboys mimmed to all the songs and it wasnt very funny at all. We also enjoyed going round the bars in Patong and having a few cocktails, although there are so many ladyboys, they look completly like woman though!
so after 2 nights in Patong we moved to another part of Phuket- Hat Kata which was really nice and relaxed, unfourtunatly it rained quite a lot. We had a big power cut there when one of the electricity cables exploded!!!!
