The Thai Airways plane we flew in from Shanghai was soo luxurious, the food was lovely and they gace us flowers to take with us when we arrived! We took at taxi to our hotel, and chucked our backpacks in our room. Just as we arrived it had started to rain typical! we knew that Rachel (kates friend) was in Bangkok too and we wanted to track her down, so we found out she was in the same hotel but was out. We decided to have some food in the bar downstairs, as we were eating Rachel walked in, Kate and Rachel both screaming in the lobby!
The next morning we went to Chauchak Market with Rachel and Jack, the market was crazy it had everything you could ever want at such cheap prices, we bought a couple o tops each. We headed to Koh Saum Road in the afternoon and we all liked the idea of having a thai style massage, but not the normal type, this one involved fish eating the dead skin of your feet. So theres Mike and Jack sitting calmly saying it tickles with these fish having a great feast off there feet, whilst Kate ad Rach have put there feet in a few times but are screaming making a lot of fuss. Mike says the fish felt like it was tickly at first but then it elt nice, while Kate says it was awful and she was sure they wanted her little toe for dinner!!!
That night we wnet or dinner and then a couple of bars, but the rain had started like a monsoon, it was soo hard! so we jumped in Tuk Tuks, Us two and Rachel in one and Jack and Ben (random traveller) in another. by this point the water was like a river in the road the exhaust of out Tuk Tuk was underwater and making a dreadull noise and in the end broke down so we jumped in the Tuk Tuk with Jack and Ben, so there was 5 of us in the back of a Tuk Tuk being soaked. not good, but was soooo much fun! the water came upto our shins!!
The next day we did some sightseeing grand palace etc, we got a Tuk Tuk to take us to all of themm for 40baht cheap!!! That night Rachel and the two of us went to Patpong (red light district) which was an eye opener seeing a ping pong show!!
Today we left for Cambodia on a 9hour coach drive!
