Next Stop Phi Phi!!
When the ferry pulls up to Phi Phi pier you see the beauty of the island and its beaches straight away.
First we stayed on Rantee Bay, which was deserted except for one other Deutch couple. The beach was nice and the accomodation very basic with rats, there were so many mosquitos here that after being eaten alive in Koh Sok we didnt fancy it again so after one night we got a longtail back to the pier.
That night we decided we were going to treat ourselves for 2 nights to a bit of luxury in princess spa resort, our room was looking onto the infinity pool and views over the beach. We enjoyed twqo days of lazing by the pool. Staying here cost 24pounds a night and our budget was broken so we moved into very basic wooden bungalows, this was a bit of a shock after our luxurious nights. We noticed rat droppings, cockroaches in the bed, spiders around the shower (making it very hard to shower) and a huge hole in the bathroom wall, so we moved very quickly. We found a nice basic fan room for 300baht the only problem was at night as it was next to a massage palour, throughout the night we heard ;you want a happy ending?' 'i want to kissss you' 'sucky sucky' but by the 3rd night we didnt notice it so much!
Whilst we stayed in Phi Phi we booked up to go on a speedboat trip around Phi Phi don and to Phi Phi ley, we ashumed the boat would be crammed full but when arriving in the morning we were told we had the boat to ourselves!! So off we went for the day feeling like royalty, we stopped at some amazing snorkiling points and saw a sea snake, Puffer Fish, shark and many colourful fish. We went to Maya Bay (The beach from the film The Beach) then we went to a lovely lagoon called pili, on the way back we watched the sunset from the boat.
We really loved Phi Phi as it was so beautiful!
