News! The cover for Against the Current is finalised, and the typestting is now underway with publication still scheduled for late September.

Plus, this week I'm going-live with an Against the Current website to support and promote the book. One of the features of this is an extensive photo section. The cost of including colour images in the book proved prohibitive, so having them available on the website is the next best thing, and actually better in a way because you can enlarge them.

There will be an Ebook version of AtC as well, but I'm not sure if there'll be images in it yet, and I'm planning an audio-book also. Now, if only someone would buy the film rights...

Finally, the other day someone said, 'Why would I need to buy the book if I've already read all the blogs?' A good question. The answer is that the book expands and completes the whole story, with a lot more background to the adventure, more detail on the incidents and encounters, and quite a bit more about France. It's not just the blogs in print form.

But it's a good point, so I will probably delete all the blogs once Against the Current is published!
