Hi all,

Well, from Kaikoura we made our way up to Picton to catch the ferry to the North island. We slept in the countryside and checked in at 06.45 the next morning. I stared at Kate Hudson for two hours (some family movie) then read for the final hour of the crossing.

I took an instant disliking to Wellington for some reson and I have no idea why. We parked up and visited a mssive Museum which was pretty impressive. After this we had a really good look around the city which was fairly ugly.

That evening and the hightlight of Wellington for me was the Fish n Chup dinner we had and the pint of Murphy's I had in an Irish bar. As we had investigated what there was to do in Wellington which seemed to be nothing we left late that evening to find a sleeping spot in the wilderness. Not before getting conned by the multi-storey car park that is. You can't win them all....!
