I forgot to mention that florianopolis was where i decided to start my naked white bit photos... The Canadian being the first to take the photo for me..
So leaving florianopolis wasn't easy but so many of my new "friends" had already moved on it wasn't to bad... I left the sweds at a port side drinking beers and eating cakes with a crazy Dutch guy, who knows when they would hunt me down again but knowing they had already been to iquazu I knew this was a safe place to hide...
For those that don't know, the falls are spread across the borders of brazil and Argentina... I think they split it just to keep peace but like the where's maddie question i guess we're never know the truth... So anyway after an over night bus I get a local bus to the falls and drop all my belongings into a locker and head in... It's well set up with a shop, tour bus, and turnstiles and everything... There are different levels to walk too, different points etc but it's an amazing site and def one the natural wonders of the world...
Someone said enough water will pass through in one day to supply a city like Rio with water for a month..!! WOW.... Spend a good 5hours watching water fall and smiling before i head out and manage to get my stuff and a bus to the Argentina side easy enough... without any questions on the border i had to wonder how easy the others in south America would be but the fun was about to begin because once in town finding the hostel was a nightmare... Using my best shouting English and pointing techniques I manage to locate the hostel...
The four bed dorm I have to myself is like the cell in the classic programme porridge but with a little less glamour... It's fine for the two nights I'm here though so can't grumble really...
The next day I head to the Argentinian side with two boring Manchester chicks, better than being alone i think but I also have to wonder how these girls ever made it this far in life...
As everyone that has even been will tell you, and I quote "THE ARGENTINA SIDE IS MUCH MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN THE BRAZILIAN SIDE" end quote, it's true... To start with it felt like they just built a platform out to the falls And decided that was enough but I was wrong, that was just to stake a claim in the devils mouth of the main falls... The rest is spectacular, greens and blues and mist, the perfect place to free professor snape once more..!! He enjoys the falls so much, photos at every point and even being passed onto other travellers for a rare photo opportunity... He makes friends at every turn this one... The falls are literally breathe taking and I have to admit so pleased to have visited both sides... Like a bag of monster munch i didn't want this part the trip to end, but like a multi-pack there was always the next bag...

Onto Buenos aires for the next instalment: woken up by a gun, great steaks, boca juniors, spiderman and of course return of the missing sweds....
