A glorious sunny day. After breakfast and a mile, Barbara and I sat out on the Promenade Deck, reading and crosswording. I then went to the lecture in the Curzon Theatre, about Concorde, Jumbos and Air Travel Today. Rob and Linda came too. After lunch, Rob and I had our first wine flight in the Glasshouse. He bought the flight, I bought the cheese. It’ll be vice versa next time. Since our last cruise, they’ve also introduced gin flights in Anderson’s. We’re going to do that too!

Barbara and I had a drinks party in the cabin. The four others plus Norman & Lynda and Luke came. After a hilarious dinner we went upstairs to the Syndicate Quiz. There are always 20 questions and on question 16, they realised they had two team 49’s! The question master hasn’t been very good up to then. Dim, doesn’t do him justice. He decided they’d get 7 points each. At least one of them left. We finally ended on 12 points, which surprised me as I didn’t think we’d hit double figures. I’m not convinced we’ll win a bottle of wine on this cruise.
