Fairly rough night last night, which I felt, as my cabin overlooks the bow of the ship. Didn't sleep too well for a combination of reasons, the duvet seems too small, I was quite hot despite the air con being turned down to the lowest setting and the strange bangs and noises the ship made.
I discovered as I was unpacking that I'd managed to leave my laundry basket at home, so that's going to be visits to the laundry with Tesco bags!
The temperature was about 13 but the seas were quite rough, about force 8 or 9. We had a Cruise Critic meeting in the Crow's Nest and most people came, although some had partners in bed. Managed to meet Alison, who's organised a couple of trips that I'm on.
After a dressed crab salad lunch, Phil and I went to the first Battle of the Sexes. The men are currently 3 points down. Long way to go yet. We were supposed to be having dinner at the Beach House tonight, to celebrate Barbara and Yvonne's birthdays (which were just before the cruise), but they cancelled because of the conditions, so that will happen soon.
