Another very warm day. I took a round the island tour. First stop was a place where monkeys climb palm trees to harvest ripe coconuts. Then we went to Wat Khunaram to see the mummified body of a monk. He was wearing sunglasses! We were on our way to the Big Buddha Temple on Fan Island, when our coach broke down. Another scorcher, 27 at 7:30, and it got a lot warmer. Apparently it hit 39 during the day and was still 30 at 18:00. This was an odd port day, all the excursions went to Bangkok, but the shuttle bus went to Pattaya.
