27 degrees at 9:00. Calm day. We do seem to be running on the starboard engine again, the wakes' are completely different. I hope this doesn't mean problems ahead.
Just a standard sea day today, before two ports in Thailand. I spent most of the morning sorting out my web page before the Battle of the Sexes, which involved giant Jenga. The men lost quite a few points and the stack fell over on the men's question, so we were hit with another 3 point loss. As no one was near it at the time, it did seem a big unfair. 60s/70s night tonight, I didn't bother.
Last night the captain came on to remind us Norovirus precautions as so many people are confined to their cabins. The jigsaw puzzles are still in situ, but the hand driers are switched off in the loos (paper towels instead) and the salt and pepper cellars disappeared from the tables in Cafe Bordeaux.
Clem Curtis in the theatre tonight.
