I'm writing this first part whilst travelling through the Gatun Lake. I was up at 6 and after a cup of tea went up to deck 13 and then up to the Observation Deck. We were just approaching the Gatun Locks. We used the starboard locks, just ahead of us in the port locks, was a car carrier, the Texas Highway. Strewth! I woke up at 6.30 and couldn't get back to sleep.
