Nice weather today. After my walk, I laid out by the Terrace Pool. The men pulled back points in the Battle of the Sexes. I did my bit by scoring 3 points in the quick fire round. In the deck quoits my partner and I managed not to score a point!
I then had my first ever swim on a cruise. Yvonne swam with me. The kids club (all 8 of them) and parents then held their Olympics. It was UK vs US. The UK team won. Keo, a four year old who has decided I'm a mate of his, wanted to go in the pool, but his parents were both dressed so I took him in.
When I got back to the cabin, I realised I was a bit sunburnt. It could only have happened after my swim.
Fourth formal night tonight. If this was a normal holiday I'd be going home tomorrow. As it is I have another 13 weeks to go!! I was paid a compliment today, my table companions said they didn't want me to move in San Francisco.
Productive evening today. We won the picture quiz (cocktail of the day, piña colada), the Masquerade Challenge (bottle of red) AND the Syndicate Quiz (another bottle of red). We actually won the Syndicate on a four way tie break. Up early tomorrow as the Panamanian pilot is arriving at 5.15, and we should be hitting the Gatun Locks at 6.45.
