Hello Sausages
Hello Everybody,
Sorry it's taken so long to write this.
Well as most of you know I am leaving Sydney this Monday, I'm going to throw caution to the wind and learn to surf, hopefully the Sharks won't get me!!!! There has been a few attacks recently - ekkkkk! So I'm moving up to Byron Bay where I'll meet David and we'll start the "Road Trip", I'm really looking forward to it.
So this is my last weekend in Sydney for a fair few months no doubt I'll come back to see some of the lovely people I've met here and who will always be friends of mine.
Anyway so what have I been upto.... Well ...... working, and partying really but I'll give you a bit more more detail. I moved into Randwick with 2 lovely Irish guys - Paudi and Bucky, they are from Dundork and are great, it's been really nice living with them, they are a class act - it;s going to be sad to say goodbye. I live with this other guy called Liam who invited himself along and none of us really like him, he a dickhead but nevermind (I can never understand how it's difficult to flush the toliet - GRRRR). I live right next door to Karen (Brent's sister) and her man Andrew, who are the best couple and I'm going to miss them loads and loads
A few weeks ago we went to Canberra, it was great fun, really beautiful and I managed to get the girls out without the boys which doesn't happen often, so it was on with the shots and we played pool all night as well as dancing it was a great night (you'll see the pictures). Then the next day I got taken out on Andre's bike which was absoultely amazing, I had the best time - "I feel the need for speed" We also saw the big Sheep and played games like who has the scariest pirate face (I know, I know but it was fun at the time). Andre is from Solvenia (sorry not to sure about the spelling) but his family have lived here for years, we had the best lunch it was huge and all fresh, they had chickens in the back yard which was for eating and they grew all there own vegetables - it was amazing - YUMMY.
Anyway, last weekend Karen invited me to the Randwick Races which is very much like Ascot, we drank Champayne all day and I won $40 on one hourse, it was a great day and the men were beautiful there. Alison then invited us to go Kayaking the next day, so we did thinking it wasn't going to be a distance and we thought we could get a twin one, but Karen and I got there and they had all gone, so we had singles and it was 2km to Shark Island (Get the name) in Sydeny Harbour, it took 45 minutes to get there and I was s***ting bricks at some points. I looked like a seal, a big fat juicy seal from below - I had images of a sharks which scared the pants off me - then on the way back, it was just Karen and I as we had to go I had a big Ferry coming towards me, and there were loads of windsurfing and yaughts everywhere, I asked Karen what to do about the Ferry as it was heading straight for me and it was BIG, she s*** herself as well and we both went for it only to realise the ferry was going round us - it was great but we were knackered - it was alot of work, So we went and got changed then went to a Rugby League game, say the Roosters v the Tigers, I was supporting the Roosters but they lost - it was really good though - I'm into Rugby League now it's great.
Anyway I haven't really got much more to say, I can't remember where the last postcard left off. I met loads of people in Bondi (Noah's) it;s great whenever I go in there I always have great times, I'm going to miss a fair few people from there. I got hamered with them the other night, I was sick as a dog yesterday!
Anyway I'll update you more with the road trip and surfing - I'm actually going to do it. And learn to Snowboard in New Zeland - yippeee.
Take care and all my love to you all. Thanks for emails and text messages.
I miss you guys
