So today got up around 9, went and had breakfast at our resort and to find out where we had to go to get the boat from... We still had no idea really as the waitress/receptionist didn't speak any English... So we assumed we would head back to the same pier as where we were dropped off at.
We went to our hut to finish off all our packing and it was totes emotes! We listened to 'I hate this part' and some Coldplay songs then we were nearly in tears!
We got a taxi for 300baht (£6) to the pier and took 30minutes... It was the right pier! Phew, because our boat was leaving in 20 minutes!
We got on and as usual the balcony part were you can sunbathe in the breeze was full so we had to sit downstairs where it's air-conditioned and far too cold! And had to sit through watching Britain's got talent! It really hasn't!
An hour and a half on the boat and we were in our new destination... Ko Tao! To be fair it's just as beautiful as the last place, all the islands are. It's good weather and scenery as usual but it's just not Phangan! I think we miss more the memories and the people as supposed to the place though so we will be fine! Walking down the pier is so busy and everyone's trying to get you in a taxi or to get you to a hotel, our hotel was booked and there was a guy stood there waiting for us with a sign, not an annie sign this time though just a grand coral resort one, annie was not impressed!
He drove us to our hotel which was 15-ish minutes away. It's nice and it's on it's own private beach but we were thinking we would be in one of the really nice private bungalows that look amazing, instead we're in like a block of apartments at the back of the resort. It's nice though it's clean and comfortable and it's two minutes from the beach! Can't complain!
As soon as we walked in I thought why is there two doors in our room, one white door on the back wall which is to the bathroom and then another one on the side? We opened it to see and we just walked right into somebody else's room! And there's someone staying there, we saw all there bags and stuff laying around on there beds! We could've just robbed them if we'd have wanted too! Thank god they were out I thought I could just imagine us walking in on someone misbehaving!!
As soon as we realised we shut it and locked it, how stupid! It made me feel not very safe leaving my things in my room incase they did the same and went rummaging through my stuff!
Went and had lunch in our resort it's expensive but nice! Then we chilled for the afternoon, it's too hot to do anything after we've been travelling in the sun...
That night we went for a walk down the main strip and ended up in lotus bar, it was packed there was a pub crawl of over a hundred people in there! We bumped into two girls we met at the waterfall party in Koh Phangan! Its crazy how you just run into each other! They told us to go get a bucket of booze from a stall down the street where it's cheaper... I always do as I'm told ;)
Then the woman on the door wouldn't let us back in with it :( so we carried on walking down the street with a bucket of frozen raspberry vodka... Classy! We met two guys, Douglas and Whin they were so over the top annoying gays but they were funny! We heard Britney playing down the street and Douglas's ears perked up and he went running to find where it was coming from; a cabaret bar!
We went in and started drinking Chang it was the only thing that was £2 everything else was £4+ we seriously don't have money to waste when we have to make it last until Christmas!!! The cabaret was really good the girls look so real you would never know they were men! It beats drag! :/
After the show we went back to lotus and met more new people, Reah who was with like another ten of her American friends and hung out with them.... We danced all night until 3:30 and then went to bed...
We were both sick! In sync with each other! It's odd we've drank a lot more in the past and stayed out longer and never felt remotely ill, until now... :I
