We spent New Years Eve in a camp/resort near Robe, we had a great night and stayed on for New Years Day to recover. We met some wonderful people again and were very impressed with the Eco work the owners have done.
After our rest day we battled the South Australian winds and made our way around to Victor Harbor where we took a ride on the horse drawn tram before continuing towards Adelaide, we spent the night about an hour south of Adelaide near the famous Maslins Beach, unfortunately the wind was still blowing and clouds had come in making it unsuitable for a photo, or swim.
From here we set the GPS to avoid highways, this was interesting as it took us along all the backroads to Port Augusta, it included the well known Horrocks Pass.
Then from Port Augusta we have headed down to Port Lincoln, a place we have never been before. It's a nice town, very busy with holiday makers. Arriving early gave us an opportunity to take a walk along the main beach and sit to have an ice-cream, very nice.
We are very thankful that the temperature has been quite mild, but the wind has been very strong. Tomorrow we are heading to Ceduna and then onto the Nullarbor.

Mum/Marion Oh I see on reading this after looking at the photo of the horse drawn tram, that the poor horse does in fact pull it, what a load for the poor thing.
