Yesterday, 12 June, we had a full day in London. Weather was wet and cold but we made the best of it. Travelled in an open top double decker bus. Saw Trafalgar square and Piccadilly circus. Impressive grand buildings and lots of historic statues. We had a guided tour of the Mews, Buckingham Palace, to see the royal carriages. We attend a church service at Westminster Abbey and heard a glorious choir singing. Heard Big Ben clock chime at 5 pm. Then we viewed London from the heights of the London Eye ferris wheel.
