So after 30 hours and 2 changes we arrvied with all our bags to our last and 15th country! Getting a visa on arrival was easy - we paid $15 and they gave us 2 postage stamps for our passport! Our taxi to our hostel was very manic and almost crashed atleast twice. Mel was scared. So we arrived at midnight local time which was 6am for us having only had a little nap on the plane. cambodia has been a lovely place - great people and such basic lives in stilt houses. PP is slightly different - busy, garbage problems and children urinating in the street. However there are many sights and experiences here which many miss heading straight to angkor.we had a lovely walk along the river and stayed at lakeside #10. All the hostels back onto the lakeand have restaurants on stilts with fairy lights (and very cheap beer!) from where we watched sunset...

So at 5am this morning we awoke grumpily and then realised our tuk tuk driver had overslept so with no loyalty we hired another one to take us out to the temples. We felt we had had enough bad luck on boats so we opted for the bus from PP to siem riep. At a fifth of the price of the boat it was a much better deal. so we took our next adventure- 2 days up the mekong delta to cambodia. It began with very touristy stops at a coconut candy makers and honey tea. Then on for fruit tasting and local music.
