Mel enjoyed shopping in Sydney's bargain shops as she picked up the new Greatest Hits of Kylie Minogue Double Cd, but then went on to top that by buying the last available ticket for the last Australian concert of Kylie's showgirls tour. So having never been to a large scale concert before, she will now be seeing two in the space of a week... although officially this one is a "show." Stu plans to fill the time by going to see Casino Royale! Anyw...

So we arrived in Sydney to find that our hostel, Footprints, was opposite the wholesalers of Fluffy clouds! Mel fell down the pavement with all her bags on in shock! Sydney did not make a massive impression it feels too crowded and tall compared with the rest of oz. We had an excellent day exploring paddy's markets - and found the John Williamson Cd with the song Christmas Photo on it (we had heard it on the Kuranda train!). We walked through Darling Harbour...
