Hello all, Toronto Travelodge West: After an exciting travelodge experience and finally being on right near the airport rather than 20 miles away we settled down to watch legally blonde on loop on tbs! Mel was also excited by the ice machine and proceeded to press the ice button everytime she was walking past. Their pool however was not up to standard. To Mexico: Air Canada put us oin stand by for a flight we had paid for 6 months previously but we did get on without any problems (and in fact almost got first class but missed out by 1 person!) In stead Mel got the responsibility of looking after the plane`s emergency exit. Arrived in a hot Cancun, with all luggage, managed to get bus and then even managed to find out hostel. Laurel 41 Hostel is nice and we get a room to ourselves. Quick turnaround to go and explore which was more exciting than we thought since Stu forgot the map. We discovered a lovely port which you can get to Isle de Mujeres (we will do that on our return to Cancun). Then managed to actually get where we wanted to go and walked 8 km around the lagoon. Points of note: Saw iguanas Saw weird flying birds that look like they are 2dimensional Offered lots of "charlie" Stu managed to order icecream instead of coke from mcd. Everyone here wants to talk to us all and one guy got out his family pictures for us to look at and told us our starsigns. mel is tree of life and stu is a woodpecker! Off to supermarket to get some food and then ready for our 6am bus to Belize City tomorrow! Lots oflove, from the place which cant decide if we should pay in dollars or pesos but uses the $ for either so it is just a lottery! mel and stu x
