So we arrived at alexandria at 1am and then realised it was 2am because of the time change. We got a taxi to our hotel to find that they had given our room away and only had a single room so we squished in!

The next day we visited the citadel, the horrible aquarium which had tiny tanks with turtles in them and then bought sunglasses for £1 each!

Today we wet diving on the Great Lighthouse. The water was absolutely freezing! However it was very cool to see the cloumns, sphinxes, amphoras and the lighthouse ruins. We danced in our scube gear on the base of the lighthouse. We then dived on cleopatras palace - the visibility was realy bad but we got to see some ruins, a war plane - complete with the pilots as mask!
