It's raining again - and it's cold!! This made for a tough time packing up the tent for the last time. Everything is soaked. We spent the day at Questacon - a science and technology centre for kids. We had a great time looking and playing with heaps of things and learning a lot about our planet, spiders, water, animals, weather and heaps of other things. It poured rain last night - there are a few leaks in the tent but not too bad. We headed off to the National Museum of Australia this morning. We spent most of the day looking around at the story of Australia, from pre-historic times, to the land of the aboriginals, through the years of colonisation to the present day. We woke this morning to a frost - it was freezing in the tent last night! Today we spent the entire day at the National War Memorial. There was so much to see and learn about all of the wars that Australia has been involved in. At then end of the day we attended the last post ceremony.

Today we move onto our last stop for the trip. We headed down the road to Canberra. Stopped in at Goulburn for lunch and enjoyed seeing all the old houses (Goulburn was the first inland settlement in Australia). Today we went into Sydney. We got up early and got the train in. It was underground and fast. When we got into Sydney we walked to the Opera House. It was made of three different sections (even though it looks like 1 in photots). It was made of tiles, there were only small and they were blue, grey and white.
