This afternoon we went on a boat tour of the Corroboree Billabong. We saw amazing birds (a white bellied sea eagle, azure kingfishers, herons, darters and heaps more), snakes, crocodiles, different trees and flowers. The best part was when we saw two baby Jabiru birds fighting over a snake that their mother had given them. Today we were up early and off to Darwin. Dad dropped us at the mall then dropped the car off for a service. When he got back on the courtesey bus we had brekkie, city style. Today we went fishing. At the first spot the current was to strong, but at the second place I caught 2 pufferfish. They were very ugly because they had teeth like a rat. Today we were up early and on our way to LItchfield NP. After about an hours drive we came to the Termite Mounds. First we looked at two MASSIVE mounds. They were 2 or 3 times the size of Dad - probably even bigger! Then we looked at the magnetic mounds. They are all facing north/south. The mounds are all skinny. Scienists think they have something like an in built compass because the termites make the mound facing whatever magnetic force they can. In the wild it...

Today we woke up and then we went for a drive into Darwin. We had a look around the shops and there were some big buildings but not skyscrapers like in Melbourne. In the afternoon we went to Berry Springs which is a waterhole with warm water. We swam for a long time. There was even a waterfall. We all had a great time. By Kade
