Mount Vernon Today we visited the home of George and Martha Washington at Mount Vernon, VA. Here we learned much about the life of George and Martha and how they lived. We visited the masion, gardens, plantation, museum, and education center. George Washington was an incredible man of character and leadership. Washington DC (day 1) We went into the mall of Washington D.C. today with our cousins, Zac and Ellie. We first went to the Australian Embassy, where my uncle works. The building wasn't as interesting as some of the other Embassys, but it was good to see something Australian again.
