On day 2 of the trekking, we were awoken early by the cockerals. After an hour's trekking, we reached a waterfall. Due to the current of the waterfall, we were able to slide down the river with the currents. After a fun 5 minutes, we suddenly realised that all 3 of us were covered in Leeches! We screamed and shouted and ran to the waterfal to wash them off!

We then trekked to another Karen village for lunch. A wedding was taking place, and we were lucky enough to be invited in by the father of the bride who offered us shots of whiskey and tabacco wrapped in banana leaves - pretty amazing experience.

That night we had a pretty bad nights sleep getting soaked right next to a waterfall.
