Bec and Georgias Big Betty Tour
Today we went into London to do all of the touristy things and it was so much fun! It was so over whelming seeing things in real life instead of just in pictures, it was so amazing.
We started at Buckingham Palace and there were so many people there, it was crazy. There were also some horses that came out of the palace and everyone started running over to get photos even though it really was nothing special! We then went down to the Horse Parade Grounds where some 'nice innocent' old lady tried to pick pocket Bec. Luckily she was not cashed up so no harm was done. We couldnt believe it!
After that we ventured through Number 10 Downing Street where there were also large crowds as well as heaps of police as it was the day after Tony Blair had just got re-elected at Prime Minister, we didnt get to see him though.
We then wondered around the busy streets, through the red telephone boxes and big double decker buses to Trafalgar Sqaure and then on to Piccadilly Circus which was incredible. It really was not like anything that we had seen yet in London.
After that we went to Licester Sqaure and down to Covent Gardens. This whole area was really nice and was our favourite spot in London. The market in Covent Gardens was awsome which performers everywhere and heaps of cool little shops.
We then went to Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and House of Parliament. All of these buildings were incredible, the arcitecture was so amazing and they were so intricate and beautiful. There were so many tourists around this area it was unbelievable!
We then walked along the river past the London Eye down to the Tower of London which was massive! It was also really pretty though. It is so amazing here, everything is so old and beautiful!
We then finished the day at Hyde Park which was so large and really really pretty. There were so many people roller blading through there as well. We walked through to the Princess Dianna Memorial which was really nice and peaceful.
After a big day of site seeing we then made our way back to the Wire Mill
