Bec and Georgias Big Betty Tour
A quick trip to Belfast on our two days off. We started out early with our friend from Uni, Claire. After a short flight our first day in Belfast was action packed as we jumped on a sight seeing tour of the city. It was really interesting seeing the murals and learning about the history behind the religious unsettlement between catholics and protestants in the area. We also saw many sights including the dock yards where the Titanic was built and othe Belfast attractions.
The night life in Belfast prooved to be a big success. We planned to do a pub crawl of the area but only made it to two pubs. We all got stuck into the local brew, the good old Guiness. After some of us making it back to the hostel at 6am we had minimal sleep and jumped on a coach tour to check out the coast of Belfast. Only just making it on the coach we wound our way seedily through the hilly countryside before stopping off at Carrick a Reed Bridge where we climbed a million steps but the view was worth it. We then jumped back on the coach and made our way to the Giant Causeway. It was really beautiful here with heaps of weird rocks that lead out into the ocean for ages towards Scotland.
After a huge action packed two days we made our way back to the Wiremill.
