Yet another 12 hour sleeper bus, unlike Vietnam we didn't have locals sleeping in the isles but they had no storage room for anybodies luggage so the isles were full of that instead! God knows what we would do if there was an emergency! And I'm sure the springs on the back suspension were bust it certainly felt like it anyway! It was defiantly not the same bus as on the picture in the brochure. We got to Sihanoukville about 6.30am and got a moto taxi to our hotel seeing as we couldn't check in until twelve we went to check out the beach and have some breakfast. Both still feeling ill by the twelve we went back and checked in. Unfortunately we haven't been able to do a lot in our stay due to us not being able to get out of bed or be more than 12ft away from a toilet. All we have managed to do is lie on the beach and meet up with Poppy and Jamie for a few drinks a couple of times. We haven't really missed out on much though because that's pretty much all there is to do apart from some day trips to a few islands. Sihanoukville is a nice place very westernized and you do get hassled persistently on the beach by women and girls trying to sell things but the people are very friendly, it's a shame we didn't get chance to explore around more but hopefully we will be able to do that in Koh Kong, our next stop.
