19th August 2009 On the road again!We made a quick stop in Normanton for some happy snaps of the Big Croc and the Big Barra and to refuel.Drove for a few hours to the Burke and Wills Roadhouse where we stopped for a short break and then we were on the road again headed for Cloncurry but we didn't quite make it as we decided to stop at the Quamby Pub where we set up camp out the back of the pub.Once again it was very hot so we had a quick dip in the pool and then...

16th August 2009 The service station was open this morning so we were able to refuel and continue on the Karumba.It was an enjoyable stop in Burketown and we were surprised as we'd had a few people tell us not to bother stopping there.
