The boat arrived early and with no accomodation booked, we hoped they'd be somone at the pier with a room to spare. There were hundreds there, all with rooms. This was just a stop of on our way to Ko Phi Phi. We got a very good room - upgraded once again! Krabi was quite commericalised and unlike the islands we'd visited. Another short boat journey took us to Ko Phangan. We stayed @ Milky Bay resort which was great. We arrived and they told us our room wasn't available but they would put us into a studio suite at no extra cost. It was huge and definatley not a backpackers accomodation. So, I think we left by saying we were getting the overnight train to Surat Thani. We did this and it was an experience. Mostly fun but not too much sleep was had (not for the reason some of you might be thinking)! We thought once we reached Surat Thani that we would hop on a 10 min bus to the port where another few minute boat ride would take us to Ko Samui. So we made it to Bangkok. Flights were really good but because of the time difference we were having breakfast at 7pm which seemed wierd. It was fried noodles with pork which was more like dinner anyway. We've seen the Grand Palace, the Reclining Budha at Wat Pho and numerous other Budha type things.
