Our last day in Cuzco and altough we had spent alot of time here we hadn't really done alot of the tourist stuff so we decided to put this right. First stop was the Inca museum, lots of old relics, pottery, skulls etc etc....all very interesting..kind of..... Felling far more cultured we then decided to visit some Inca ruins situated an easy 20 minute walk away, up hill of course. Huge stone battlements which were despite being stone battlements very impressive....

Today was a day to forget..Woke up feeling crap..Hayley took one look at me and said "you're ill and going nowhere today"..H went to the chemist as i lay in bed with a terrible cold..Enough was enough, we were both sick of being cold, seen enough ruins and decided to try and head to Curucao, the Caribbean a bit earlier. We both loved Peru but felt we had done enough of it, seen what we came to and needed some sun.. H managed to change the flights so we...

Woke up...cold again...This cold lark was beginning to wear a bit thin on both of us... Matt (me) felt decidely dodge...full of cold and not in the best of spirits. We agreed with the hotel to pay for half a days stay so we didnt have to leave at 10am when our train back to Cusco wasn't until 3pm...It cost us 15 soles...about 2 pounds.. Once again we had done well bartering on the hotel price and were paying 5 pounds for our hotel room..a bargain. Very little ha...
