Hello all. I am in koh samui at the mo which is a small island just off the thai mainland. We spent monday and tuesday at khao sok national park which was amazing. It was hard to believe that it could be part of the same country as Bangkok. We stayed in tree houses in the jungle next to an amazing river and spent most of our time on a rope swing jumping into the water. We are in Chaing Rai at the moment which is the most northern city in Thailand. We visited the main attraction here, the Golden Triangle yesterday and are staying in central Chaing Rai. The Golden triangle is where you can stand and see Burma and Laos from Thailand. Hello again. We have just got back from our trek and im very tired! The trek itself was quite demanding but easily do-able, unfortunately however, the scenery wasn't great, we saw a few huts, rice fields and hills but most of the way we were watching our feet so as not to trip over the vines.
