Hello, me again! We have safely arrived in Christchurch, South island New Zealand. We spent a very boring morning hanging around in Nadi airport this morning as our flight was delayed by an hour, could have been worse though i suppose!

I had a bit of trouble at Christchurch airport. Luckily I thought to declare a wooden mask I bought in Fiji at the last second, otherwise I could have been fined $2000 or sent to jail as it turned out that it was infested with bugs! Obviously, I had to have it destroyed, which was a bit annoying as it was very nice!

Our first impressions are very good. It reminds me a lot of england, Christchurch is quite similar to Bath, but set against mountains. The weather has been really good, about 20 degrees with clear skies! We have managed to book ourselves onto the kiwi experience for tomorrow, which was very surprising, considering the hassle we had with the oz experience. We are going to Kaikoura to hopefully spot some whales!
