gday everyone!!! so so glad to read everyones messages on the message board! make me tres happy. so, i have reached the kindom of crazy cambodia. first thoughts, luvin it- hardly any tourists, just a few backpackers, pretty much none where i am. just me and the bus load of whiteys i came with. going round with 3 other blokes at th mo, all really nice, couple english and a german. all my age too, so were going out on the razzle dazzle every night. in Siem Riep now, middle of cambodia- absolutely out in the sticks.nice town, get stared at all the time. i like this game though, i try to out stare them. always lose. cambodians are crazy crazy people lol, really likeable. first i had to get an early bus to the cambodian border from bangkok, on nice highways and bus, then reached border, paid for a visa, then changed up some cashers and hopped on the s***test bus uve ever seen, had 2 huge smashes in the front windscreen and no proper seats, all broken, windows broken, well dodgy suspension and the noisiest exhaust ever! this i could deal with for 18 hours, but then we got 100m out of the border town Piopet, and then the road just disappeared! not exaggerating, but seriously, no road at all!!! it was the worst journey of my life! so hot and smelly, and top speed of about 10miles an hour coz of the huge landmine craters and bumps of sand and dirt, and the odd slab of concrete. absolute nightmare. just wait til u see the photos!!! ill put them on in bout 2 days when i reach the cambodian capital.this internet is VVVVery slow and proper old school with weird keyboard.. but damn cheap like everything out here. my guesthouse here is only about 80p a night and its gorgeous! first day here we went to the Ankor Wat temples (tomb raider film) and they blew my mind completely i couldbnt beleive it, again amazing photos to come!! getting great tan too from all the walking around. good old red to brown hypothesis is going well. then second day - today- we got tuk tuk again to the actual ankor wat, stunning and huge, then to another Wat which was the most unbelievably beautiful place ive ever been to building wise, a gorgeous ruin, and we stayed there til dark and the colours were stunning. huge HUGE HHHHHHHUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGEEEEEEEE trees with their roots wrapped around the ruins and on top of the ruins, well weird.like another world. then we just got back and now im gona go grab some cheap chicken fwied wice - i love chicken c'est bon- and then go to a few bars and then early start, going to a floating village and a crappy olympic stadium, maybe play some football, get scouted, become cambodian citizen, done deal. rest of plan- going to pnom penh capital city- getting visa for vietnaaaaaaaam sorted out, off to the south coast -place called sihounkville or sutin, chill on the beach and deserted islands for a while, back to pnom penh, collect my passport and visa then cane it to 'nam and bop around that country for maybe 2/3 weeks then laos and back to thailand beaches then fly to sydders and get a job in bondi hopefully. oh yeah , i may well get a job in thailand though, coz high season is just starting there a job availabe- gona try an get a DJ job maybe- not scratching it up- just chosing tunes and putting on a good night in a bar on some island. chatted to an english bloke in a bar last night, he gets $9 an hour for djing and he cant DJ! so its enough to live on etc- love it out here so may well try and stay longer! see how it goes. anyway- thanks for the messages, having a really great time and will post my QUALITY photos on here in a few days when i get to some modern place... off for fwied wice wid chickaaan love matteeew. stray cats still annoying me. speak again soon oh yeah and im gona shoot some AK's tomorrow!!! awesome!! but guns are not cool kids. amen
