Awake at 06:30. By 07:30 we are ready to make our way to the ferry port. Check in and boarding goes smoothly and as soon as Pont Aven has cast off and we have waved goodbye to France we go to the restaurant for breakfast.
The journey is pleasant, most of the time out on deck in the sunshine until Plymouth hoves into view at 12:30. An hour later we disembark, clear border control and head for home.
The only blight is on the Liskeard bypass. As we get alongside a cattle lorry to overtake the 'freight' gets frightened and Mary*Lou is splattered by the copious organic discharge sprayed through the slats.
By 15:45 we are home, parked and wading through eleven weeks' worth of mail.
We make a few phone calls and have a quiet evening.
Living in houses is alright, but it's a helluva long walk to the bedroom.
In bed we chat about some of the highlights of our 11 week, 8 nation, 5000+ miles adventure, but we'll have to read the log again to remember it all....
