A lovely bright, sunny morning greets us as we hear the town clock chiming 08:00 confirming our new time zone. Ali goes to wash, and Nick hears "Oh!" from the bathroom. We leave the lovely marina location on the outskirts of Seville and drive a mile to the supermarket, where the Nicks are abandoned in the carpark for almost an hour, before joining the A-49 which will take us right into Portugal. This morning it is very, very windy. We wake and see through the skylights the eucalyptus trees swaying wildly, together with the odd tap and rattle of twigs landing on the roof. Both Nicks decide not to venture into the city so Ali and Grete go on the bus. They find a bar and enjoy a tapas lunch then look around at some of the sights. This site has a van cleaning area so before we leave both vans get a rinse off with the pressure washer before we leave at 11:20 Skirting Cadiz we can make out the port area across the huge flat wetland area. We see storks nesting on pylons and huge hills of salt evaporated ot of the salt pans which stretch as far as the eye can see. After our big meal and wine we slept well but when we wake it is quite cold around 5 deg.
