Another hot, hazy day. We meet at the ferry station and sail across to Monte Isola, the largest inland island in Europe. [see yesterday's link about M.Isola]

Surprisingly it is quieter now than last September. We find a cafe for light lunch then wander about the small town of Peschiera Maraglio and out along the lakeside to the small park where we get a cooling granita drink. The ferry returns us to Iseo where Nick W shuttles Grete and Ali back to site on the bike, meaning Nick can go back at full speed in the chair, which is quicker than Ali can walk, meaning we all get back to the site's shade earlier.

The remainder of the day is taken with general loafing, swimming and nature watching.

It is a hazy, sultry evening with storms forecast but the don't come although there is news of a tornado t66o our east where we were a few days ago.
