
Sanary-Sur-Mer, France
After a quiet morning typing up notes we head towards the nearby town of Sanary. It's a pretty walk past mock haciendas with bougainvillea and olive trees. The harbourside is really attractive with rows of Touloniers, the local small wooden fishing boats. They are between 20=30 feet long with a forward mounted rig similar to a arab dhow. All brightly painted with flags and pennants flying, some have information placards suggesting they are part of a regatta. ...
