We travel from our bush camp to have a stop at a beach on the Caspian sea then onto a village in the mountains called Masouleh. As we arrive in the town at the caspian sea we have a minor collision with a car, this became a minor international incident , so the police were called to sort it out, the truck left us at the beach and returned to the scene to sort the confusion. The beach was a strange affair as men and women cannot be in the sea together, so nobody was in the sea, after a few photos with the locals and some lunch we met the truck, our driver had to pay a small fine, but was deemed not in any fault??
We then moved off travelling through paddy fields and tea plantations and climbed up the green hills which looked like England. As we climbed higher we saw lots of Iranians picnicking by the riversides and finally reached our new destination, it is obviously a tourist trap for Iranians from Tehran.
We sleep in a hostel segregated, and spend time walking around this small village tied to the side of a hill, people sit on the roofs of the buildings, even the restaurants are on them!
The next day myself and Jackie take a walk round the village then up and into the woods on the mountains, taking in the wildlife and scenery, which was spectacular, almost like Scotland. After a nights rest we start our way towards Esfahan via a bush camp in the desert.
