Its a beautiful morning and we pack up the truck and head a little way up the coast to where the boat is moored. Its a scenic blast across the pond before we drop our lines to test our luck. Before Jason's line even touches the bottom he's hooked a cod. Its a big fish, but not by their standards so he drops it back in. During the next few hours we land 12 good sized cod with Heidi taking the gold for largest fish. I snag myself two which im happy with.
After packing up the fishing stuff we drop in to Jason's parents. His mum has some pea soup on and serves us a great lunch. We decide to head out for a ride around the point that afternoon and Jason's mum and dad join us on their Harley Davidson trike along with Ian (one of Jason's and Heidi's friends) on his KLR. we visit many of the small communities along with some waterfalls and cliffs on the 200km ride.
