Jason and Heidi are building a new house and they take me out to see it in the morning. They are ready for a crane to arrive on Monday to fit the roof trusses and their lead worker is setting up some scaffold. Jason and i give him a quick hand before heading over to the construction yard so i can have a play on one of Jason's excavators. There are no cars to smash up so instead I have a go at lifting and stacking boulders. It requires a delicate touch with a 20tonne machine.
The weather isnt playing ball and the sea is too rough to go fishing. Instead we jump in a truck and hike out to a hidden waterfall and swim hole. The water is freezing cold but we still go in for a quick dip. On the way back we go to a long beach and walk out to a sea stack while Heidi stops to collect some of the beautiful pebbles that line the shore.
