On our latest adventure we went sailing around the Whitsunday Islands. We made our way from Magnetic Island through Ayr and Bowen or Bowenwood as it was where the film Australia was filmed. We stayed one night at Airlie Beach before boarding the sailing boat, The BroomStick, early the following morning where we were greeted with some good old fashioned English breakfast tea!! That night we watched whales dancing in the ocean whilst the sun set. After a rocky night sleep we spent the morning on White Haven Beach. Realising that sailing was not for us we jumped aboard onto the British Defender where we snorkeled more Coral Reef and ate their hotdogs. We are currently back at Airlie Beach where everything is still swaying from the waves!! We are now looking for a new challenge for tomorrow........... (and some chocolate cheesecake tonight to boost our energy levels!)
