Sunny skies, loads of beaches and boats, snorkelling, fish, random dogs on beaches, friendly locals, social meals, island culture shows and singing and dancing! The bar stays open till the last person standing, food is fresh and made from local produce or fish caught that day! Everything is Fiji time! If the drums are a knocking foods up! If you don't say bula back you get no lunch!

Our last island in Fiji reached already, this one more resort like than the others and we are welcomed with songs, lunch and orange juice! We settle into our new bure with a large bed, nice toilet (whoop!) and pretty patterns on the wall. The Awesome Adventures Boat arrived to take us to our next island Korovou. We arrived in time for lunch which was a social event with everyone round the same table. Pizza was on the menu, not the traditional type but a fresh offering with less cheese and more vegetables and salad, safe to say it was very yummy! We arrived at Mantaray Island and didnt know what to expect. We were shown to our new home which was a small cabin on stilts called a Bure. This room was small and consisted of a double bed with two bedside tables, a ceiling fan and a balcony complete with two chairs. This was perfect as the only time you went to your room was to sleep! Arriving in Fiji we instantly noticed the change in temperature and took off our layers of clothing finding the flip flops from the bottom of our bags! We stayed in Novotel and took to exploring the hotel which was like a mini village. Our first find some hammocks which had our names all over and enjoyed rolling us out of them!
