I was surprised to see grass and flowers at 11000 ft. #3 has fallen in love with snow which is why I took this particular picture. He is insisting the next trip we make is to go snowboarding. These snowboarding ideas were planted when Kathleen and Robert took them on Saturday to Mt. Hood in Oregon, where they have year round skiing and snowboarding.

Kathleen It was so sad...Whit wanted to ski & Michael wanted to snowboard so bad! We turned around & Michael had found an old board & was standing on it swaying back & forth with his arms out saying,"I'm snowboarding!" Whit had found two skinny boards & 2 sticks & was pushing himself along, pretending to ski...what's a Grammie & Popaw to say but, "Your mother & daddy will take you sometime!"
