Yellow-bellied marmot were running all over the top of this pass, along with some other crazy looking squirrels, chipmunks, and the tiniest baby ducklings I've ever seen.

Lakes of melted snow were all over the place at the top of this pass. Words cannot express the beauty. I really should have invested in a fancy camera for this trip. Now I know.

I was surprised to see grass and flowers at 11000 ft. #3 has fallen in love with snow which is why I took this particular picture. He is insisting the next trip we make is to go snowboarding. These snowboarding ideas were planted when Kathleen and Robert took them on Saturday to Mt. Hood in Oregon, where they have year round skiing and snowboarding.

This is a picture of us climbing the side of the mountain to get to bear tooth pass, a stretch of highway that runs from Red Lodge, Montana to Cooke City, which I think is in Wyoming. The same road goes on down into Yellowstone. This road wound for 5 miles up the side of this mountain to the pass which runs along around 11000 ft of elevation. If you are ever anywhere near the border between Montana and Wyoming, please make this drive. More pics to follow...
