We set off for Phuket at 10.30am this morning, via taxi to Chiang Mai airport. Our flight was with Thai airways at 1pm and everything went like clockwork. We arrived at Bangkok station about 2 hours early because we allowed plenty of time due to the congestion (our experience so far has demonstrated that it takes 4 times as long to get anywhere in Bangkok than it should do). This is the last post from Bangkok for now. I was actually really poorly yesterday with a streaming nose, a bad cough and a bit of a fever.
