So the big RMPS day finally arrived. I have never seen so many temples in my life. We hit Ankor Thom before lunch a huge temple ruin. It was soooo vast we got lost on quite a few occasions! The sandstone work was magical to behold, we covered loads of temples some with the steepest stairs I have ever seen and some taken over by trees( this one was in tomb raider and Indiana jones). Out final destination was the jewel in the crown Ankor Wat itself. There were amazing scenes carved into the wall depicted the Ramayana and Cambodian history, it looked like something out of a fairytale surrounded in vines and with monkeys littering the area posing for gullible tourists before moving away at the last moment.

Just made it back to the hostel and fret knackered ready for yet a new culinary experience before rising for sunrise 2mrw!
