So second epic day at Ankor Wat.
Started off with the coolest thing yet! We went to see a river that had carvings in the riverbed and all along the rocks at the side. It was like something out of ancient egypt. We started with a 1.5k jungle walk. I truly felt like Indiana jones leaping from bolder to bolder avoiding crazy huge spiders and crazy gigantic furry caterpillars. Finally after fighting through the jungle canopy we swung out to the gushing river. There were beautiful stone carvings along it's length giving the river a magical other worldly feel. We traced it's length for about 5oom until it ended in a fairytale waterfall. The water is considered holy, blessed by shiva so natural I stuck my head straight into it's cool semi clean probably malarial goodness. O ,.. I must be uber blessed now!
Next visited a beautiful temple on the way home surrounded by a ocean of rice fields. Was the best temple yet!
Finally hit town and hung out with old Aussie godger with 50cents Ankor beet watching world go by.....
